WHAT PEOPLE SAY
About the initiative...
You are doing good work in advocating greater awareness of nature to families.
We like what you do and are interested in starting the same here in kenya.
I would like to start a KZN chapter of your incentive. I'm a 62 year old retired businessman/engineer and have a 15 month old son. My interest lies in the effect of fossil fuels on our world.
I need to be part of your project by forming one such project in Zambia. how can I join under you guidance?
About the travel stories...
Since receiving your email and the newsletter, I am so much more aware of where we live. This morning myself and my kids had a wonderful reminder of how fortunate we are to live in our beautiful area of Somerset West. We were greeted with what I like to call “Heavenly Rays”. The sun rising over the Hottentots Holland Range and then the Helderberg Mountains. I said to my kids “if you ever wondered what God looks like (pointing to the beautiful view in front of us), I said - that is what God looks like!"
About the Augrabies story...
I loved your newsletter about Augrabies. My husband comes from the kalahari and every winter we drive past, although we have stopped and camped in the past. My kids loved it as youngsters and you have reminded me that we HAVE to go back to that ancient place. Thank you!
About the Knysna story...
I spent my honeymoon last year in Knysna and can through your article experience the walks through the forest again. Much needed escapism after being stuck in an office for the day and made me more determined to go back and actually stay in the forest this time around. Thanks for the inspiration.
You just know what makes me tick. Great to see you doing all this wonderful work. Always a treat to hear from Kids of Nature. Regards
