There is something about the Cederberg mountains. As soon as we drive up Piekenierskloof I feel it. I have visited this area many times and each time we follow the N7 meandering from Citrusdal to Clanwilliam, I start sitting upright, like a magnet being pulled towards the mountains on my right. My heart starts beating faster and I bet my pupils are dilating too. It appears that I am not the only one being intensily energised by this special place...
