New Continent, New Adventure
Updated: Aug 22, 2019
In 2017 I travelled with my family from Cape Town all the way up to Etosha National Park in Namibia. It was an unforgettable trip organized by Petra, who founded and has been running Kids of Nature Travel for the past 6 years.
Bitten by the travel and organizing bug, I came back to Cape Town to do an internship at Kids of Nature in 2018. I fell in love with the company, South Africa's culture and nature, and became even more passionate about joining Petra to run and grow Kids of Nature.
After my internship I worked remotely for Kids of Nature from Belgium with the aim of going back to go work and live in Cape Town as a full-time employee. An exhausting struggle of 6 months of administration to apply for a work visa almost killed both of us, waiting for a green light to give the starting shot.
But, here we are now, both located in one of the most beautiful places on the globe. Working together on exciting new adventures for our fellow free spirits and families. With a ton of new energy, new adventures, great travel partners, a fresh look and both driven as never before, we enjoy the next leg of our fabulous journey and sharing all of it with you.
Yours in Family & Nature,
PS: One of my favorite ways to connect with nature is by experiencing animal interaction with one of our responsible travel partners. During our visit at Adventures with Elephants, I could see for myself that this organization takes care of problem elephants instead of killing them. They have brought the elephants in and trained them for educational hands-on interactions. Adventures With Elephants is a responsible tourism operation that offers the highest level of elephant care, food requirements, hygiene and environmental enrichment. It is guaranteed to be a memorable, unique, and touching experience.
Get in touch with us via email and let us know what you would like to experience, we will take care of the rest.
